The enemy army launched a missile strike on Kyiv around 07:00 AM on December 20, with reports indicating that 5 missiles were fired.
This was stated by the head of the Kyiv Military Administration, Serhiy Popko, via Telegram.
The enemy utilized Kinzhal missiles from MiG-31K aircraft and Iskander/KN-23 ballistic missiles, as reported by the Kyiv Military Administration.
"Preliminarily, the enemy used air-launched ballistic Kinzhal missiles from MiG-31K aircraft and Iskander/KN-23 ballistic missiles," said the head of the Kyiv Military Administration, Serhiy Popko.
As a result of the strike, debris was recorded falling in three areas of the city.
In the Holosiivskyi district, an office building, asphalt, and a gas pipeline were damaged, and 5 vehicles caught fire.
According to preliminary reports, one person was killed, and another was injured.
At another location, the facade of an office building was damaged with a fire on the roof, and there is information about destruction on the fifteenth floor, with two people reportedly injured and hospitalized.
In the Solomianskyi district, a fire broke out in a non-residential building due to falling debris. No information on casualties is available yet.
A fire also occurred in the Shevchenkivskyi district on the grounds of a non-residential development.
According to the mayor of Kyiv, as a result of the enemy attack and damage to the heating main in the Holosiivskyi district, 630 residential buildings, 16 medical facilities, 17 schools, and 13 kindergartens are currently without heating.
