The Russian occupation forces may launch attacks, particularly by crossing the Oskol River in the Kharkiv region and actively advancing in the Kurakhove direction of the Donetsk region, because we lack enough defenders to cover all areas.
This was stated by military-civilian analyst, ATO veteran, and former commander of the "Aidar" battalion assault company, Yevhen Dykyi, during a broadcast on Radio NV. According to the military expert, the Russians are searching for places where our defenders are simply absent, and they are not available everywhere and at all times.
Yevhen Dykyi highlighted that in the Kurakhove direction, we have built fortifications, but they stand empty, and there is no one to fight there. As reported by the military, at a platoon strongpoint, where there should be 30 defenders, in reality, there are only three elderly men around 60 years old.
"We are currently in the worst situation since the spring of '22; we are facing an acute crisis across the entire front, and this is specifically a personnel crisis. We have reached a point where the enemy is successfully advancing almost along the entire front line for one reason - due to their significant numerical superiority over our defenders. And this numerical advantage, in turn, has arisen solely for one reason – because the Ukrainian rear is completely disrupting and failing mobilization," Yevhen Dykyi noted.
The military expert added that the total number of recruits is currently 1.5 times less than the number of sanitary losses, and this does not even account for cases of combat injuries.
