Currently, in the Kupiansk direction, the Russian occupation forces are disregarding losses in personnel and equipment as they attempt to advance.

This was reported by Lieutenant Anton Shmagailo, commander of the first assault company of the "ACHILLES" strike UAV battalion, known by the call sign "Bandera," in an interview with "Ukrainian Truth."

According to the Ukrainian military officer, during assaults, out of ten enemy infantrymen, only one or two survive, and possibly a few more during mechanized pushes, while a new group is immediately deployed to replace the destroyed one. At the same time, the Russians hardly evacuate their wounded.

The serviceman explained that the key populated areas in the Kupiansk direction include Kupiansk itself, Kupiansk-Uzlovoy, and Borovaya. The battle map shows that the occupiers have managed to split the Ukrainian Armed Forces' foothold in half as they have reached the Oskol River near Kruglyakovka.

Anton Shmagailo predicts that the main objective of the Russian occupation forces in this direction is the occupation of the left-bank Kupiansk region, particularly Kupiansk-Uzlovoy, as well as attempts to break through to Borovaya.

The serviceman also noted that the enemy command had planned to capture Kupiansk before November 1, but since they failed to do so, the new deadline is set for the New Year.
