On January 2, 2024, Russians launched 99 missiles ("Iskander," "Dagger," Kh-31P, Kh-555, Kh-101, Kh-55, "Caliber") and a total of 35 drones at Ukraine. Air defense forces shot down all drones and 72 missiles.

The main attack targeted Kyiv and the surrounding region, Kharkiv, resulting in three fatalities and around fifty injuries. A multi-story residential building and a car dealership were damaged.

In Kharkiv, three people died that day, and more than 60 were injured.

On March 22, Russia attacked with 88 missiles (Kh-101, Kh-22, Kh-101, Kh-59, "Dagger," "Iskander," S-300, and S-400) and 63 drones. Air defense forces intercepted 37 missiles and 55 drones. Five people lost their lives, and over 20 sustained injuries, while energy generation and distribution facilities were damaged.

The Dnipro HPP suffered significant damage, and Kharkiv was almost completely cut off from electricity after the shelling.
