In the Kramatorsk direction at the end of December last year, Russian occupation forces managed to capture the village of Grigorovka, located north of the city of Chasiv Yar, after months of fierce fighting, but their advance has now slowed down.

This was reported by military analyst and coordinator of the "Information Resistance" group, retired Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Konstantin Makhovets, on his Telegram channel here.

According to the military expert, Russian occupiers are currently attempting to break through in the area of the fire-resistant plant in Chasiv Yar itself, as well as on both sides of the Bakhmut – Konstantinovka road to the south of the city near the quarry.

It is evident that in this direction the enemy is operating with units of the 98th Airborne Division, supported by some elements of the 3rd Combined Arms Army, likely from the 4th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade.

Konstantin Makhovets noted that at the same time in the Lyman direction, units of the 488th and 283rd Motorized Rifle Regiments from the 144th Motorized Rifle Division of the enemy managed to occupy the village of Ivanovka on the western bank of the river Chorny Zherebets, as one Russian expert put it, after overwhelming losses and two months of fighting.

Subsequently, Russian occupation forces attempted to break through "on the move" towards the village of Kolodyazhi, but so far this attempt has not been successful.
