The Pentagon does not rule out that another strike by "Oreshnik" may occur in the coming days.
This was stated during a briefing by U.S. Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh.
According to her, Putin publicly announced that Russia plans to launch another experimental missile, "Oreshnik."
"It is possible that Russia could do this in the coming days. I do not have an exact date for you," Singh reported.
She also added that these conclusions were drawn based on assessments from American intelligence; however, Singh mentioned that it is still unknown what specific targets Russia might strike.
It is reported that the U.S. views the "Oreshnik" strike more as an attempt to intimidate than as a turning point in the war.
Bloomberg also reports that Russia may launch another medium-range ballistic missile "Oreshnik" at Ukraine in the coming days, citing its own sources.
Associated Press and Reuters, referencing U.S. officials familiar with intelligence assessments, also report on the potential "Oreshnik" strike on Ukraine in the "coming days."
