The Russian occupation forces have already stockpiled over a thousand missiles of various types, with more than a hundred units of each type, including "Iskanders," "Kalibrs," X-101, and X-555.
This was reported by military expert, reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and flight instructor Roman Svitan in a comment to TSN.ua.
According to the military expert, this number of missiles could be sufficient for dozens of mass missile attacks, but, of course, some of these missiles are part of a reserve stock. Therefore, it is estimated that the occupiers have enough missiles for seven to eight mass attacks.
Furthermore, Roman Svitan noted that the occupiers have nearly increased the total number of drones they use for mass attacks on Ukraine by tenfold, and they cannot all be shot down in the border regions, which has led to more reaching Kyiv.
To address the issue with "Shaheds" and decoy drones, the expert proposes several options, including increasing the number of mobile groups.
"One mechanism to enhance defense density is to assemble all mobile groups from Ukraine and deploy them along the border and frontline," stated Roman Svitan.
Additionally, a viable solution to the problem could be light assault aircraft, such as the Embraer Super Tucano, which is relatively inexpensive to operate. If several dozen of these aircraft, equipped with two machine guns and night sights, were procured, the issue of "Shaheds" would be fundamentally resolved.
"Until the issue of procuring aircraft is resolved, the optimal option is to deploy all mobile groups along the border and frontline," added Roman Svitan.
