The enemy army over the past day struck 28 settlements in the Kherson region, resulting in one death and three injuries from the attack.
This was stated by Alexander Prokudin, head of the Kherson regional military administration.
The following settlements were subjected to enemy attacks over the past day: Antonovka, Zelenovka, Kamyshany, Belozerka, Ogronne, Shyroka Balka, Sadove, Stanislav, Daryivka, Ivanivka, Poniatovka, Berislav, Monastyrske, Novovorontsovka, Burhunka, Mykhailivka, Osokorivka, Lviv, Tyahynka, Olhivka, Havyrlivka, Odradokamenka, Mykolaivka, Kazatske, Vesele, and Kherson.
The Russian army targeted residential areas in the settlements, including damage to a multi-story building and six private homes.
Damage was also reported to trading kiosks, outbuildings, a garage, and vehicles.
Ukrainian air defense destroyed 51 out of 81 Russian drones during the night of December 18, with 30 drones failing to reach their targets and being lost in location.
According to the press service of the Ukrainian Air Force, active air defense operations took place in the Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
Fortunately, no impacts on residential buildings or civilian infrastructure were recorded.
