As a result of the Russian massive shelling of Kherson on Friday, December 20, one person was killed and nine others were injured.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Alexander Prokudin, via Telegram.
"Today, Kherson woke up to numerous strikes from the Russian army. The occupiers have turned the city into hell," Prokudin stated.
According to Prokudin, explosions were heard across all districts of the regional center, with the invaders attacking residential areas, social, and critical infrastructure.
The head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Alexander Prokudin, noted that as a result of the Russian shelling, up to 60,000 subscribers in the Kherson region were left without electricity.
Damage to critical infrastructure has led to power outages for consumers in the Shumensky, Zhilishche, Tavrichesky, and Ostrov neighborhoods of Kherson. There is also a lack of electricity in Belozerka and Kamyshany.
Late in the evening on December 19, the Russian Federation launched a ballistic missile strike on Kryvyi Rih, destroying part of a residential building, from the rubble three people were rescued.
Additionally, around seven in the morning, the first explosions were heard in Kyiv, resulting in debris from the enemy attack.
The enemy army launched a missile strike on Kyiv at approximately 07:00 on December 20, with reports indicating that five missiles were fired.
This was announced by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Sergey Popko, via Telegram.
The enemy used Kinzhal missiles from MiG-31K aircraft and ballistic missiles of the Iskander/KN-23 type, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration.
As a result of the strike, debris was reported to have fallen in three districts of the city.
