According to the plan, the mission of European troops will focus on ensuring security and maintaining stability in Ukraine, reports Politeka.net.

As per a report from Sky News, European forces may be deployed to Ukraine after active combat operations conclude; however, their role will be far from peacekeeping. Sources citing Western officials indicated that foreign troops will not be stationed near frontline areas, with their primary task being to stabilize the situation in Ukraine post-conflict.

The idea of incorporating foreign troops into Ukraine is viewed as one element of security guarantees that could aid in the country's recovery following Russian aggression. Their role will facilitate the return of millions of Ukrainians who have been forced to leave their homes due to the war. European soldiers will act to "calm" the population, assisting in peaceful reconstruction and stabilization of life, according to Politeka.

Foreign troops may be positioned in key locations such as major cities, ports, and critical infrastructure sites, including nuclear power plants. A significant mission will involve the protection of Ukraine's airspace. This includes the potential integration of an "air police" force to restore civil aviation, reopening Ukrainian airspace to passenger flights.

Additionally, there are options for deploying satellites, aircraft, and drones to monitor the situation in the country. To enhance security, the possibility of sending military ships to the Black Sea is being considered. One of the necessary procedures for this will be landmine clearance. According to plans, the number of foreign troops should not exceed 30,000 personnel.
