This was reported on Telegram by Igor Smelyansky, the CEO of Ukrposhta.
“From now on, thanks to the bilateral agreement signed between Ukrposhta and Royal Mail, our unstoppable exporters selling on Amazon, Etsy, and eBay will save 15% on shipping parcels up to 1 kg to England through the 'Small Package PRIME' service. How many of such shipments are there? Over 60% of all shipments worldwide. How many SMEs do we have? More than 60,000!” — wrote Smelyansky.
According to him, Ukrposhta delivers over 37 million international parcels and is a market leader in international delivery with a market share of over 50%.
“Therefore, after signing the agreement with DHL, a vehicle departs daily on the route from Kyiv to London, allowing your parcel to be delivered to your doorstep within a timeframe of 4 days. In the peak month (December 2024), over 95% of shipments were delivered by Ukrposhta in collaboration with Royal Mail to recipients in less than 10 days. And it wasn’t just delivered to one location, which would still require a costly London taxi ride; it was sent to 11,684 Royal Mail locations across the country. This means you could take a walk, stop by the nearest pub or Ritz Carlton, pick up your parcel along the way, and head home, happy to receive a fantastic product from Ukrainian artisans,” — explained the CEO of Ukrposhta.
