Since January, the price of Bitcoin has surged by 126%, reaching $100,000 due to demand for exchange-traded funds, the April halving, and Donald Trump's victory in the U.S. elections.
According to TradingView, the price of Bitcoin (BTC) hit $100,000 on December 5, surpassing this level just a few weeks after breaching the $90,000 mark on November 12.
Bitcoin also set a new all-time high of $103,679 at 3:08 AM GMT—approximately 90 minutes after exceeding the $100,000 threshold.

Over the year, the net inflow of funds from spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds in the U.S. exceeded $31 billion, along with an increase in supply following Bitcoin's fourth halving in April.
Donald Trump's victory as a Republican in the U.S. presidential election, rising speculation regarding the establishment of a strategic national Bitcoin reserve, and increased corporate adoption of Bitcoin led by Michael Saylor of MicroStrategy have also contributed to the rise in Bitcoin's price.
