The developer shared that the idea for Walkable emerged during the pandemic when outdoor walks became one of the few forms of entertainment. While strolling along familiar routes, he thought about how convenient it would be to have a tool for marking visited places and planning new routes.
Currently, the app is only available for iOS, as Rogalski stated that he primarily created it for his own use. At the same time, he explained that the possibility of releasing an Android version is also being considered.
The development of Walkable involved a team of five people. Among them are two Ukrainian students studying in London, two iOS developers, and a designer. They all work remotely from different parts of Europe. It is worth noting that the team has no connection to monobank.
