Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus will be visible together in the sky during the first month of 2025. These six planets will start becoming visible a few days before January 21, 2025. After that, they will remain visible for about four weeks.
Four of these planets — Mars, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn — can be seen with the naked eye. However, a telescope will be required to observe Uranus and Neptune.
The best time to view the planetary parade is after sunset, around 8:30 PM local time. Venus, Saturn, and Neptune will not stay visible for long and will only be on the horizon for a short while. They will set below the horizon between 11:30 PM and midnight.
Meanwhile, Mars, Jupiter, and Uranus will remain in the sky for nearly the entire night. They will also slowly begin to set, with Mars being the last to go down just before sunrise.
Although there have been several planetary parades in the past, this one is expected to be the best of all, as it will be visible for an extended period.
