According to the information from the Pension Fund of Ukraine, there are four main circumstances under which pension payments may be terminated. These are stipulated by legislation, particularly by the law "On Mandatory State Pension Insurance." The grounds for termination include:
- False or inaccurate documents. If a pension was granted based on submitted documents containing misleading information, the payments will be stopped.
- Death of the pensioner. In the event of the recipient's death, the payments are automatically halted.
- Prolonged absence of fund collection. If a pensioner does not claim their payments for six months, the disbursement will cease.
- Relocation abroad. Payments will be terminated if the pensioner moves to a country with which Ukraine has not established a pension agreement.
These legal provisions are aimed at ensuring the proper use of pension resources and preventing violations within the social insurance system.
