This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance.
Starting from March 1, 2025, as in previous years, pensions will be indexed for all categories of retirees. This year, the indexation coefficient will be 11.5%.
Under these conditions, the average pension in Ukraine will increase from 5,789 UAH to 6,345 UAH.
Expenses for pension indexation will be covered within the budget expenditures of the Pension Fund of Ukraine and the funds allocated in the State Budget of Ukraine for pension provision in 2025.
“The government continues to take all possible measures to ensure that over 10 million Ukrainian pensioners receive their pensions on time and in full. Since one of the goals of indexation is to improve the material well-being of retirees, the Ministry of Finance believes it is fair to ensure pension indexation for citizens receiving the lowest payments. We understand that pensions are the primary source of livelihood for our retirees, and their timely payment is a priority obligation to people of advanced age. Therefore, despite the war, we continue to ensure its timely disbursement,” commented Deputy Minister of Finance Roman Yermolichev.
