Ukraine has secured the 58th position in the ranking of the largest economies in the world, according to the British consulting firm Centre for Economics and Business Research, which published its annual World Economic League Table.
It is noted that the Ukrainian economy has shown resilience in the face of war. In 2024, the annual GDP growth is projected at 3.0%, slightly lower than the 5.3% figure in 2023, but still remains positive.
“However, GDP is still estimated to be 23.1% below the 2019 level, and it is expected that the economy will not return to this level over the next five years,” forecasts CEBR.
