The "National Cashback" program launched on September 1 and has already covered 330,000 products and numerous manufacturers, with a significant increase in demand primarily for food items.
As stated in a study conducted by RAU, the analytical company Num8erz, and the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the quantity of purchased goods produced in Ukraine has risen by 9.5%.
This means that the share of such products (in units) has noticeably increased over the two months following the launch of the national program compared to the two months prior to the start of the "National Cashback".
“This is not an analysis of the effectiveness of the largest promotional campaign with significant product involvement, but rather an analysis of its launch. Because we do not know where this trend line will move next. Currently, it can be said that over the past two months, people have started purchasing 10% more domestically produced goods participating in the 'National Cashback' program. And this specifically refers to food products,” the study notes.
