This is stated in the 2024 report by the European Startup Nations Alliance, reports the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation. The ranking assesses how effectively countries create conditions for the development and scaling of technology companies.
It is noted that Ukraine scored maximum points for implementing the following standards:
- Speed of starting a business online.
Opening a business in just a few minutes is no longer a dream but a reality thanks to Diia.
- Access to financing.
The Ukrainian Startup Fund has been recognized as a model of effective startup support policy. The fund has already issued 570 grants totaling ₴423 million to launch breakthrough technology companies and develop Ukrainian innovations.
- Availability of digital government services.
“We are creating convenient ways to conduct business online so that Ukrainians can forget about queues and piles of paperwork. With digitalization, everything is convenient and transparent,” the Ministry of Digital Transformation added.
- Stock options and favorable taxes — Ukraine has a legal and tax environment for technology companies in Diia.City.
Among many advantages, residents have access to tools for attracting investments.
