Toptal, a leading service for finding freelancers, has completed the acquisition of YouTeam — a Ukrainian platform for building IT teams. Currently, the financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed. It is known that the Ukrainian venture funds u.ventures and Digital Future have also sold their stakes in the startup.
Previously, in 2018, YouTeam participated in the Y Combinator acceleration program in the USA. As part of this program, the company received $120,000 in investment in exchange for 7% equity.
YouTeam is a platform for hiring engineers from Eastern Europe and Latin America. It was founded by Ukrainian entrepreneurs Anton Mishchenko, Yuriy Rifyak, and Nikita Voloshin in 2014. The service enables companies to quickly find specialists for working on IT projects.
