People's Deputy Mikhail Tsymbalyuk suggests that social standards may increase as early as this year. According to him, the possibility of an increase depends on receiving 40 billion euros in aid from international partners.
“I believe that the Cabinet will indeed present such an initiative after the first half of the year. We are discussing this with various ministries. Why? Because then there will be economic growth,” Tsymbalyuk noted.
The deputy also emphasized that the decision to freeze social standards is unjust. In his opinion, raising pensions and salaries would contribute to an increase in budget revenues through taxes.
The question of potential changes remains open. Depending on the economic situation and the amount of financial aid from abroad, the government may reconsider its decision. However, there have been no official statements or specific plans in this regard disclosed so far.
