The relevant changes are outlined in law No. 4144-IX, which was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on December 13, 2024, and signed by the president on December 30. The ban applies to:
- articulated tractors for semi-trailers;
- buses;
- trucks;
- specialized automotive equipment;
- new passenger cars subject to first registration.
