Ukrposhta announced this in a press release on its official website.
“Saint Nicholas Day is a beloved winter holiday, during which children write letters to the saint. The war in Ukraine has changed not only the lives of millions of Ukrainians but also the dreams of children. In their letters to Saint Nicholas, Ukrainian children ask for not gifts, but for: ‘superpowers for the Armed Forces of Ukraine,’ ‘level 1000 armor,’ ‘a stockpile of weapons,’ ‘a warm winter’ for Ukrainian defenders, and most importantly — ‘for everyone to return alive,’” said the message from Ukrposhta. “The idea for this postal release came from a real letter written by a Ukrainian boy named Igor to Saint Nicholas.”
The stamp “Letter to Saint Nicholas” will be put into circulation on December 6 and is considered valid for the payment of postal services at all post office locations.
