“Friends, it’s already Friday, so let’s get to the good news. What could be more beautiful than the stamps issued by Ukrposhta? Only stamps dedicated to the history of Ukraine,” writes Smeliansky. “On January 22, 2024, the President of Ukraine signed a decree ‘On the historically inhabited territories of Ukrainians in the Russian Federation.’ This year, in honor of Ukraine's Unity Day, Ukrposhta will introduce a continuation of the well-known series ‘Ukrainian Folk Clothing’ — featuring the attire of Kurshchyna, Belgorod, and Kuban. Additionally, there will be a card titled ‘Overview Map of Ukrainian Lands’ and envelopes (of course, to have something to stick the new stamps on).”
Today, January 17, the stamps will be available for pre-order, and starting January 22, they can be purchased at branches throughout Ukraine.
