The publication AIN was informed by the company.
According to the founder of the brand, Laura Nekrasova, the regulations in Canada are quite strict; all products must undergo testing and obtain the necessary documentation. The Bibliotheque de Parfum team spent several months on this process.
Official registration, opening accounts, and finding and renting a space in Canada is nearly impossible without consultants, Nekrasova emphasized. The registration of the company through an accredited accounting firm alone cost about $700.
“Finding and renting a space is challenging. It’s a real quest because in Canada, you need a realtor who handles all communication with the property owner on your behalf. To lease a space, you must obtain recommendations from three Canadian citizens, confirm the availability of funds for rent, and also provide your bank statements and credit score,” the publication quotes the brand's founder.
