This will enable companies and developers to integrate non-custodial wallets into any website or application—and it is even designed to work with artificial intelligence agents.
On November 11, Tether announced the launch of its WDK, which it described as a modular software development kit "designed to allow companies and developers to seamlessly integrate non-custodial wallets and user experiences for USDT and Bitcoin into any application, website, and device."
The WDK was created to support both human users and "new digital entities such as artificial intelligence agents, robots, and autonomous systems," the company noted.
Among the key features of the WDK are providing users with complete control over their assets, eliminating reliance on third-party custodial solutions, and simplifying the setup process.
Tether's CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that the focus is on "open-source development libraries that are super-modular, highly scalable, and proven, which can be easily integrated into any platform."
