In 2024, PrivatBank continued its stable development and focused on strengthening a client-centric culture. It swiftly responded to changes in the external environment, client demand, and government initiatives aimed at supporting the population and businesses in Ukraine.
Main results:
- Since the beginning of 2024, the bank's net loan portfolio increased by 20.7 billion UAH, surpassing 112 billion UAH. Client trust in PrivatBank continued to grow, leading to a more than 10% increase in client account balances over the year.
- According to the results of 2024, the bank's profit before tax reached 81 billion UAH. The net profit amounted to 40.1 billion UAH, which is 6% higher compared to 2023. The tax on profit to be paid into the state budget is 40.9 billion UAH.
- The foundation of the bank's financial results lies in net interest and fee income, the stability of which confirms the effectiveness of the bank's business model. Effective management of credit risk allows for controlling expenses related to the formation of reserves for the bank's loan portfolio. The operating expenses for 2024 increased by only 8% compared to 2023, which is below the annual inflation rate.
- For charity, PrivatBank has allocated 247.22 million UAH since the beginning of the year, which has been directed towards assisting hospitals and medical institutions, strengthening the country's defense capabilities, social projects, and support for employees.
