Only 0.01% of public companies worldwide own Bitcoin. This indicates that the market is still in a phase of "elite experimentation," according to a report by experts at OKG Research.
According to analysts, these figures suggest that traders are only seeing the "tip of the iceberg of institutional purchasing power."
Data from BitcoinTreasuries shows that public companies that have officially announced investments in Bitcoin for various purposes account for 2.4% of the asset's supply. A significant portion of this is attributed to the holdings of MicroStrategy, which make up 1.8%.
