The Russian occupation forces are actively attacking south of Pokrovsk, attempting to cut the road to Mezhova, and the enemy's advanced units have almost reached the village of Kotlino.

This was reported by military analyst and coordinator of the "Information Resistance" group, Konstantin Mashovets, on his Telegram channel.

Konstantin Mashovets noted that an important detail has changed in the Pokrovsk direction in recent days.

"It is evident that the enemy, as part of the 'supporting' actions of the 41st combined arms army, on its right flank in the area of the village of Vozdvizhenka, is trying to 'add weight' to the attacking assault actions of its territorial troops," the expert stated.

According to the military analyst, it is most likely that the occupiers plan to reach the Pokrovsk - Konstantinovka road at the highway interchange located east of the village of Malinovka. Whether these 'supporting' actions will turn into main efforts will depend on what the enemy can achieve south of Pokrovsk.

Konstantin Mashovets added that currently the main efforts of the enemy are focused on actions south of the city, but if the occupiers manage to cut the road to Mezhova and invade Pokrovsk from the south, it is possible that part of the main forces of the 41st combined arms army could be regrouped to this area to 'synchronize' the assault on Pokrovsk from the south, as well as from the north and east.
