The focus was on energy issues caused by cryptocurrency mining, particularly in regions with limited energy capacity.
It is known that the proposed ban will extend to territories controlled by the Russian Federation, including temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions of Ukraine. The government aims to restrict mining activities in these territories, citing their impact on local power grids.
