Starting today, residents of Ukraine can open European accounts with Revolut and take advantage of advanced financial services. Key features include instant and free transfers between app users, convenient exchanges of over 30 currencies without high fees, and easy payments from anywhere in the world. To identify customers, Revolut uses the Diia service, ensuring a high level of security.
Currently, more than 700,000 Ukrainians in the UK and the European Economic Area (EEA) are already using Revolut's services. Since 2022, over 1 billion euros have been sent to Ukraine through the app, primarily from Germany, the UK, Ireland, Poland, and the Netherlands.
The Ukrainian design team at Revolut has created a VISA debit card called "Clear Sky." Its unique design is inspired by the blue and yellow colors of the flag: the transparent blue part symbolizes hope for a peaceful, safe sky over Ukraine.
Users from the UK and EEA will receive the card for a symbolic donation of £5 / €5, while customers in Ukraine can order the "Clear Sky" card for free. Revolut plans to double the donation amount (up to £200,000).
