In just one day, on November 11, the enemy army shelled the territory of the Chernihiv region 16 times.
Thirty explosions were recorded, and it is known that the enemy attacked the Novhorod-Siverskyi and Chernihiv districts using artillery, mortars, drones, and FPV drones, as well as launching a missile strike.
Additionally, the enemy carried out a missile strike near a village in the Chernihiv region, damaging two agricultural buildings.
Over the past week, there have been 66 shellings, and 157 explosions were heard in 29 populated areas.
"The terrorists launched 3 air-to-surface X-59 missiles across the region. Russian forces are increasingly carrying out airstrikes, with 19 recorded just last week. The enemy is using kamikaze drones of the 'Shahed' type and strike FPV drones," reported Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv regional military administration.
On the evening of November 11, the occupiers launched strike drones in several directions, with drone groups flying in from the Kursk and Belgorod regions of the Russian Federation into Sumy, and subsequently into Poltava, Chernihiv, and Kyiv regions.
Colonel reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Serhiy Grabskyi, stated that while Russian occupying forces are currently using missiles individually, these strikes do not cause strategic damage; rather, they are a test of our air defense system. Therefore, we must be prepared for new massive missile attacks.
