The government has made amendments to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine's Resolution dated August 20, 2024, No. 952. These changes aim to enable even more Ukrainians to access state support, as stated in a press release from Ukrposhta.
Now, applications for the "Winter eSupport" through Ukrposhta can be submitted by:
- individuals over 60 years old who do not use the Diia app and do not receive pensions or social benefits through Ukrposhta;
- incapacitated adult citizens (the application is submitted by their guardian);
- people with disabilities of groups I and II;
- individuals receiving a supplement for caring for a child with a disability of subgroup A and who receive an invalidity pension or social assistance through banks.
This means that under the new rules, state assistance can be received at Ukrposhta branches even by those citizens who previously did not use the company's services for receiving pensions or social benefits.
To take advantage of government assistance, a few simple steps need to be followed:
- visit a Ukrposhta branch, speak to an operator, and fill out the application form for receiving the "Winter eSupport" through Ukrposhta;
- after receiving an SMS from the company regarding the payment allocation, return to the branch and receive services or goods within the allocated amount.
Individuals with limited mobility can contact the company's Contact Center, and then submit an application and receive assistance through a postal worker.
