The government has made amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated August 20, 2024, No. 952. The changes aim to enable even more Ukrainians to benefit from state support, as stated in a press release from Ukrposhta.
Now, individuals can apply for "Winter eSupport" through Ukrposhta if they are:
- people over 60 years old who do not use the Diia app and do not receive pensions or social payments through Ukrposhta;
- incapacitated adults (the application is submitted by their guardian);
- individuals with disabilities of groups I and II;
- persons receiving an allowance for caring for a child with a disability in subgroup A and receiving a disability pension or social assistance through banks.
This means that under the new rules, state assistance can be obtained at Ukrposhta branches even by those citizens who previously did not use the company's services for receiving pensions or social payments.
To take advantage of the government assistance, you need to follow a few simple steps:
- visit a Ukrposhta branch, speak to an operator, and fill out the application form for receiving the "Winter eSupport" payment through Ukrposhta;
- after receiving an SMS from the company regarding the payment allocation, return to the branch and receive services or goods within the allocated amount.
Individuals with reduced mobility can contact the company's Contact Center, then submit an application and receive assistance with the help of a postal worker.
