It is noted that the cinema chain "Planeta Kino" has invested over $1 million in this project. The platform will feature only 16 carefully selected films that rank highly in global box office charts. Each film will have teasers, pre-movies to immerse viewers in the context of the events, as well as post-movies to help better understand the material, according to the company's press service.
Currently, the online cinema is operating in beta version on updated platforms: the website, mobile application, and Android TV app. The company's plans include expanding access to smart TVs with Tizen (Samsung), Apple TV, and webOS (LG) operating systems, as well as creating applications for tablets.
The platform will operate on a subscription model: a three-day access will cost 39 UAH, a monthly subscription will be 129 UAH, and a six-month subscription will be 699 UAH.
