On the night of October 7, Kyiv was subjected to yet another attack from Russian military forces, which employed Shahed-type strike drones.
This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMVA).
This marks the fourth airstrike on the capital since the beginning of October. Throughout the night, air raid alerts were declared three times in Kyiv, lasting over half an hour.
Additionally, air raid alerts were issued across the entire country due to the launch of a MiG-31K. The Air Forces reported fast-moving targets, specifically a "Kinzhal" missile aimed at Staro Konstantinov, while air defense worked in Kyiv.
The air defense forces successfully detected and neutralized around a dozen enemy drones. However, as a result of the attacks, debris from a missile fell in various areas of Kyiv, particularly in Solomianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Holosiivskyi districts, where minor damage was recorded: the roof of a multi-story building and three minivans were damaged, and a fire broke out in a private garage.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko noted that debris fell onto the sidewalk in the Solomianskyi district, while in Holosiivskyi, it penetrated the roof of a service minivan. All services are operating at the incident sites; however, preliminary reports indicate that there are no casualties.
Furthermore, during the night, Ukraine faced a threat of missile attacks using "Kinzhal" missiles from the MiG-31K carrier. The Air Forces urged residents not to ignore alarm signals and to take shelter.
