The regulator's press service reported this.
The Committee on Supervision and Regulation of Non-Banking Financial Services made these decisions on February 24, 2025, following scheduled inspections conducted by the NBU's Inspection Department.
As a result of the violations identified during the inspection, measures were taken against JSC "UСК "Knyazha Vienna Insurance Group" in the form of:
- A fine of 2.057 million UAH for violating legislation on consumer rights protection in financial services, as defined by the Civil Code of Ukraine and the Laws of Ukraine "On Electronic Commerce," "On Insurance," and "On Financial Services and Financial Companies."
- A fine of 40,000 UAH for submitting inaccurate reporting files to the NBU for the first half of 2024. These requirements are outlined in the Rules for Preparing and Submitting Reports by Non-Banking Financial Services Market Participants to the NBU, approved by the National Bank of Ukraine Board Resolution dated 25.11.2021 No. 123 (with amendments).
- A written warning for violating several requirements, particularly concerning the operations of separate divisions and the insurer's management system.
