While the Russian occupiers have not been able to significantly expand their foothold along the Black Zherebets River near the village of Makeevka towards Grekivka, frontline units of the enemy are constantly attempting to do so.
This was reported by military analyst and coordinator of the "Information Resistance" group, Konstantin Mashovets, on his Telegram channel.
According to the expert, it is likely that the units of the Russian occupation forces have managed not only to secure positions in the area of Nevske but also to advance from the north towards the vicinity of the village of Terny. However, it seems that the further offensive actions of the Russians towards Terny have been blocked by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
Konstantin Mashovets also noted that enemy units tasked with advancing towards Borova are currently actively attacking the forward positions of the Ukrainian troops in the direction of Pervomaiske - Kopanky and are clearly attempting to flank the AFU units defending west of Raihorodka and in the area of Novohorivka.
In the expert's opinion, in the near future, the command of the enemy grouping "West" will utilize the forces and resources of the 20th Combined Arms Army on the flanks of the army's operational area to support the offensive of the 1st Tank Army and the 25th Combined Arms Army in the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, respectively.
"Moreover, it is quite possible that there will even be a regrouping of some part of the forces from the 20th Combined Arms Army into the operational areas of the neighboring 1st Tank Army and 25th Combined Arms Army," added Konstantin Mashovets.
