On November 13, Alexander Bornyakov, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, shared this from the main stage of the Web Summit conference in Lisbon, Portugal. The project is being implemented with the support of the USAID program "Competitive Economy of Ukraine," as stated in the press release from the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
CodeUA is a B2B platform designed to connect international clients with verified Ukrainian technical contractors for a wide variety of projects. Clients will be able to order services in software development, IT consulting, cybersecurity, Big Data, design, technical support, and other areas.
The platform provides convenient access to the genuine IT potential of Ukraine, offering Ukrainian companies another opportunity to expand in the global market. Due to the challenges posed by the full-scale war, attracting new foreign clients is becoming increasingly difficult. At the same time, the Ukrainian IT sector comprises approximately 5,000 technology companies, including:
- 2,118 active verified IT companies, according to the IT Research Ukraine 2024 study;
- 2,600+ startups, according to the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
The Ukrainian IT industry brings together over 300,000 highly skilled specialists who are driving the global innovation market forward. The majority of them—82%—hold Middle, Senior, and Lead positions, highlighting their high level of professionalism.
