This information was revealed through a report by Forbes Ukraine.
The application involves the acquisition of several legal entities associated with Uklon, specifically LLC "Tech Uklon," LLC "Uklon Corporate," LLC "Uklon Ukraine," and the Cypriot company UKLON LTD. In its response, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) notes that "Kyivstar" aims to gain control over the assets that facilitate Uklon's operations in ride-hailing, delivery, and online advertising sectors.
Financial Performance and Deal Price
According to Forbes Ukraine's estimates, the value of Uklon could range from $40 to $80 million. The year 2024 has been significant for the service: over three quarters, the company generated revenue of 1.2 billion UAH, which is double compared to the same period in 2023, as per YouControl data.
In August 2023, the founders of Uklon — Sergey Smus, Vitaly Dyatlenko, Dmitry, and Victoria Dubrovsky — handed over operational management to the new CEO Sergey Grishkov, while remaining on the supervisory board.
"After our exit from operations, the company became more valuable," Smus remarked in December 2024 in a comment to Forbes Ukraine.
