- the installation of a payment terminal;
- the signing of additional contracts with banks (or other payment service providers).
At the same time, payers can be confident that their payment, initiated through the QR code, will definitely reach the intended destination.
Since the details do not need to be entered manually, this reduces the likelihood of errors. Payment details will be automatically filled from the QR code scanned using the payment app scanner.
Currently, over 75% of citizens with current accounts can scan a QR code generated according to the NBU's rules from their banks' mobile payment applications. This number continues to grow.
Additionally, hyperlinks—Deeplinks—can be used for sharing payment details.
These are also generated according to the unified rules for using QR codes previously developed by the National Bank and contain the same set of payment data as in the QR code.
