The government has introduced new regulations for the booking business.

Правительство внедрило новые правила для компаний, занимающихся бронированием.

According to the new criteria for reserving against mobilization set by the Cabinet of Ministers, businesses must re-confirm their critical status by February 28, 2025.

This was announced by Deputy Minister of Economy Vitaliy Kindrativ during a meeting with representatives of the European Business Association (EBA).

He stated that during this period, the existing critical status and current reservations will remain valid. However, companies will only be able to reserve new employees after re-confirming their status within the specified timeframe.

Additionally, among other new measures, from December 1, employee reservations will only be possible through the Diia portal, as we reported earlier. To do this, it is necessary to obtain the critical status anew based on the new criteria and submit the required documents.

To achieve critical status, a business must meet at least three criteria, two of which are mandatory for all, specifically:

  • absence of tax arrears;
  • the average salary at the enterprise must be at least 20,000 UAH, and the same salary must apply to the employee being reserved.

The third criterion should be one of the general, regional, or sectoral criteria that must be developed by the relevant ministries or OVA.

As noted by the EBA, the relevance of the critical status will be automatically checked by the system monthly through data exchange with the Pension Fund and the State Tax Service.
