He announced this on his Telegram.
“At the request of businesses — ACC, EVA, FRU, APITU, URB, RAU, the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce has submitted draft laws for the taxation of imported parcels,” wrote Hetmancev.
According to him, the texts of the drafts for amendments to the Customs and Tax Codes have been fully developed by the respective business associations.
The draft laws propose to introduce the following rules:
- tax-exempt goods: citizens will be able to receive goods valued up to 45 euros without paying VAT, provided that such goods are sent by individuals to their address free of charge and without commercial intent;
- taxation of purchases on marketplaces: goods purchased by citizens on marketplaces or similar platforms will be subject to VAT taxation regardless of their value. At the same time, import duties will only be charged when the value of such goods exceeds 150 euros.
