According to experts from DIM.RIA, from January to December 2024, 181 new buildings with 358 sections were put into operation in Ukraine. The highest number of completed projects is in the Kyiv region, excluding the city of Kyiv, and in the Lviv region. Throughout the year, the number of operational sales departments for new constructions in Ukraine increased, rising from 75.4% at the end of 2023 to 77% by the end of December 2024.
Prices
The average cost per square meter is highest in the city of Kyiv at $1342; however, it decreased by 4% over the year by year-end. The second highest price for new housing is in the Zakarpattia region at $1171 per m2 (+14% over the year). The Lviv region ranks third at $1090 (+3% over the year).
Among the districts of Kyiv, the highest price per square meter for new constructions is in the Pechersk district, averaging $2695 (-0.7% over the year). The Desnyansky district offers the most affordable housing at an average of $909 per square meter (-4% over the year).
