According to data from the Government Portal, starting today, January 24, 2025, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, has launched a beta test of an electronic service for obtaining statuses through the Diia Portal:
- person with a disability due to war;
- status of a family member of a deceased Defender of Ukraine.
“We are continuing to digitize services for veterans while ensuring their availability both offline and online. The new services will minimize bureaucracy and simplify the process of obtaining statuses for veterans and their relatives. As a result, veterans and the families of deceased Defenders will have an easy way to submit applications for status, while authorized personnel in local structural units for veteran policy will receive an electronic cabinet for processing such applications,” noted the Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, Natalia Kalmykova.
Digitization of services and accessibility for veterans and their families is a priority direction of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs.
The services are being implemented by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine in conjunction with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine with the support of the “Diia Support Project.”
