“Yes, these discussions come up from time to time. One reason for this is that we are delving deeper into this space. We maintain a balance of various crypto assets. If you want to process transactions, you need to hold a certain amount of tokens and coins on the balance,” Tenev said.
Furthermore, Tenev explained that there are specific reasons to refrain from making Bitcoin a treasury asset. In particular, this could influence how investors perceive the company.
He also noted that Robinhood's stock already has a high correlation with Bitcoin.
“I can say that we are not dismissing investments in Bitcoin. So far, we haven't done that,” he mentioned.
