In November 2024, banks imported cash foreign currency into Ukraine amounting to $1.478 billion equivalent. This represents a decrease of 12.2% compared to October ($1.684 billion), according to data from the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
In November, banks brought in $1.039 billion in cash dollars, which is 9.6% less than in October ($1.150 billion). Meanwhile, the volume of cash euros fell by 17.8% to $437 million equivalent ($532 million in October).
No banking metals were imported into Ukraine, just like in all previous months since March 2024. Other currencies were brought in totaling $2.3 million equivalent (compared to $3.1 million in October).
