Kupyansk is currently the most intense area of combat operations in the Kharkiv region.

This was stated by the commander of the "ACHILLES" battalion of strike unmanned aerial vehicles from the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade, Yuriy Fedorenko, in an interview with Anastasia Fedor.

According to the serviceman, the occupiers planned to seize Kupyansk-Uzlovy before November 1 and to enter the left bank of Kupyansk, establish a foothold, and secure a bridgehead. However, as the end of the month approaches, they have achieved nothing.

"As a result, Russian occupation generals have switched to a mode known as kamikaze, where they aim to achieve results on the battlefield at any cost. What has the enemy managed to achieve over the past week? Essentially, nothing. Objectively, the overwhelming majority of the positions held by the Defense Forces remain under our control, while the enemy suffers disproportionate losses in personnel and equipment," said Yuriy Fedorenko.

The military noted that the nature of the enemy's assault actions has changed. If a month and a half ago the enemy actively used lightly armored and armored vehicles, today they are covering distances of 8-12 km on foot to accumulate at the front line of confrontation.

"But the enemy's task remains unchanged – to storm. They have now set a new deadline for themselves, aiming to reach Kupyansk-Uzlovy and the left bank of Kupyansk after the New Year. The enemy is trying to increase these efforts, primarily through infantry assaults supported by their rocket fire systems, aviation, unmanned systems, and other means," Yuriy Fedorenko added.
