In the Czech Republic, there has not been a significant increase in the arrival of refugees from Ukraine due to the winter season, contrary to expectations. This was stated by the head of the Czech Ministry of the Interior, Vít Rakušan, during a broadcast on Czech television. This information was reported by ct24 and cited by UNN.
Details
According to him, the Czech Republic anticipated a rise in applications for temporary protection from Ukrainians in December and the second half of November due to the escalation of attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
At the same time, he assured that the ministry continues to strive to support internal migration within Ukraine.
Reminder
Ukraine and the Czech Republic signed an updated Cooperation Agreement on combating crime, preventing and detecting criminal activities, and ensuring public order and safety.
