The American President emphasized that the continuation of the conflict is inflicting substantial damage on Russia. He highlighted economic issues, particularly inflation, which is approaching 10%.

He also mentioned plans to meet with Putin to discuss ways to conclude the conflict, noting that the details of the meeting are still being coordinated.

"It could be very soon," Donald Trump stated. "The war between Ukraine and Russia should have never started," he added.

According to the U.S. President, Putin "cannot be pleased" at the moment.
